It was sculptured on the granite living rock which is located about 7m below from Maae Buddha statue, known as Mount Maguk’s Buddha rock. This three existing Buddha’s statue was sculpted on the flat living rock surface facing the southwest towards the Juhyeung Halo which is located close by, and is in the shape of three Buddha sitting with one’s legs completely crossed.

This stone Buddha has a special feature by showing the cartoonish and exaggerated expression which can be seen from a clay doll from Silla or an image of a god from an unknown tribe. Overall, it is unbalanced and strays from the normal Buddha image statue model. However, the simple mischievous child expression adds the feeling of friendship, and it is predicted to have been built approximately in the late-mid Goryeo period.
